Axkan Palenque Hotel ★★★★

Schöne Anlage, wo man auch gut bewirtet wird. Kurzer Weg zu der Maya-Ruinen.

Generell waren Essen und Getränke preiswert ... außer dem Wein. Ein Glas für umgerechnet 10 Euro war eine Überraschung, weil der Preis nicht auf der Karte stand und uns erst durch die Rechnung präsentiert wurde.

- schönes sauberes Zimmer mit Balkon - Klimaanlage - freundliches kompetentes Personal - durften viel früher einchecken und nach dem Checl-Out noch die Anlage inkl. neuer Poolhandtücher benutzen - tolle Lage mitten in der Natur

- renovierungsbedürftiges Badezimmer - Sauberkeit des Pools - keine Liegen am Pool - Sauberkeit der Anlage (Bsp. benutzte Windel neben der Pooldusche)

Sehr schön außerhalb des Trubels, wunderschön angelegt, um die Seele baumeln zu lassen, vor allem bei gefühlten 42 Grad. Der Pool war super.

Die sehr in die Jahre gekommen Stühle auf dem Balkon, ekelig und kaputt. Mit Badehandtüchern von der Rezeption war es ok. Man sollte im Pool am Nachmittag noch einmal mit dem Kescher durch, seeehr viele tote Insekten (ja, es ist Natur), obwohl morgens alles gereinigt wurde.

Ruhige Gegend etwas abgelegen vom Zentrum, aber nah zu den Ruinen. Ohne Auto nicht zu empfehlen. Schöner Pool. Kaffeemaschine

Eigene Getränke am Pool nicht erlaubt. Waren drei Personen und mussten jedes Mal nach einem dritten Handtuch fragen. Ein Kühlschrank wäre nett.

Las piezas son cómodas. Toda la decoración tiene un aire de cabañas y rústico muy lindo, bonitos jardines con muchas flores y la piscina es agradable.

Durante el desayuno entregan vasos desechables, es anti ecológico y contaminantes, como de otra época. Nos querían cobrar un precio más elevado en un cocktails de la barra, inventando precios más altos, generando una situación muy incomoda entre la persona de la barra y quien cobra, ambos con precios diferentes. Hubo malos entendidos en el desayuno porque no son claros desde el inicio, llegamos a desayunar y ya no quedaban varias del las opciones que ofrecen, como era del tipo buffet uno espera que repongan, consultamos y nos dijeron que nuestro desayuno incluido en el precio era del tipo americano y no podíamos elegir, aún así la primera mañana no nos dijeron nada sobre el tipo de desayuno que nos correspondía, quedando con una sensación de frustración ante lo ocurrido. La ubicación es relativa, ya que queda "cerca y lejos" tanto del centro como de la zona arqueológica.

Solo no tienen rampas para acceso con adultos mayores. Wifi no servia muy bien en mi habitación

Está un poco descuidado , las duchas tienen sarro , los pisos percudidos las puertas manchadas

La alberca, el restaurante, la vegetación, el personal muy amable, la habitación muy limpia y excelente lugar para descansar y relajarse , en familia o en pareja, bonitos jardines , y si tienes suerte podrás ver una pareja de guacamayos en los árboles del hotel..... muy recomendable el hotel , hay servicio ala habitación del restaurante o de la pizzeria de la entrada al hotel ....

Mucha claridad , por las cortinas un poco justas , deberían poner más grandes..

El lugar es muy bonito, a las afueras de la ciudad y las instalaciones muy bonitas también.

El internet estuvo muy lento y no hay alguna tienda cerca, bueno al menos no supimos de alguna.

El personal muy mal encarado, falta amabilidad, sobre todo en el restaurant y bar, muy poca oocion de alimentos

Lo de no estar cerca de la carretera, eso te obliga a pagar taxi cada que quieras salir

Esta lejos de la carretera principal para tomar autos, a fuerza tiene que ser

La alberca está de buen tamaño y tiene linda vista, las áreas comunes y los jardines están lindos, pues está el hotel prácticamente en la selva. La comida del restaurante es sabrosa y a un precio justo

Las habitaciones huelen a humedad cuando recién se abren

Simple rooms, pool was nice. Good bargain but nothing special. For one night fine

Rooms are a little bit like youth hostels but on the other hand the price is applicable

The spacious rooms with comfortable beds and adequate sheets were enhanced by a lovely balcony and natural surroundings. The pool was pleasant, with provided towels, and the hotel maintained a cozy atmosphere, encouraging guests to gather near the pool and dining area. Additionally, the rooms were cleaned daily and had appropriate amenities.

The pool needs more maintenance, likely more chlorine to address the noticeable algae. The food was not great, so it's preferable to eat outside the hotel.

Beautiful and big garden. Good breakfast. Big swimming pool. Beautiful view to the garden area.

Bathroom needs refreshing.

Located away from town quiet with some distant spotting of macaws flying by. Nice plants. Good base to visit palenque ruins (go in morning to see without vendors), misol ha and roberto barrios waterfalls (skip Agua Azul too many people harassing you there and far less amazing) Friendly staff who were accommodating of my poor Spanish for the most part. Food options decent.

Overall I had a decent time here but these would have been helpful for meand hopefully for other people to know: •arrived at the front desk at 2:54pm. Desk guy found our reservation and said we were early and that we would have to wait. It’s not a big deal but I really don’t understand what 6 min difference would make handing over the key. It’s not like we’re not going to check out early or get extra value for money. The room was ready and they weren’t doing anything. It’s just an unnecessary pedanticness. •staff who showed us to our room seemed like they’d have rather been doing anything else. Didn’t even look to see if we were keeping up and was texting. •bathrooms near “restaurant” have doors that don’t close and no toilet paper, in general lacking cleanliness •pool photo is shot with a wide angle lens- is small, cute - this place is better for families • bar is tiny and not big enough to hangout in. You will be disappointed with mixed drinks they either water down the alcohol or skip it entirely. I ordered capriñas the last night and there was no alcohol in them. Charged 110mx for basically juice and soda water. I would suggest not bothering ordering mixed drinks unless you plan to top them up yourself and instead order beer or a bottle of wine. I have to say this has been a constant disappointment for me. •bathroom in room had dirty faucets •curtains in room torn •sheets had stains- I think they’d been cleaned but just stained. •room/hut across from ours had burnt down- I’m guessing because of smoking. I did see no oking signs everywhere including the eating area but I also saw ashtrays with butts •the road to get here and other hotels nearby is tricky with rocks, potholes, uneven surfaces, dips and partially pulled the bumper off my rental car. ~ many of these comments are not special to this hotel but just something I seem to be encountering across Mexico
